American Tech Solutions, LLC is a small business joint venture formed under the SBA Mentor/Protégé Program between American Operations Corporation (protégé) and BlueWater Federal Solutions, a Tetra Tech company (mentor). This Joint Venture brings together the experience and capabilities of two very dynamic and capable companies.
Founded in 1983, AOC is a SDVOSB firm with a thirty-five (35) year history that provides Information Technology (“IT”) and IT management-related services to Federal government customers under primary NAICS Code 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services, and Secondary NAICS Code 541512 – Computer Systems Design Services. AOC focuses its operating divisions on providing Federal customers with Computer and Information Technology (IT), Telecommunications, and Cybersecurity services.
BlueWater is a former small business recognized as an SBA Small Business of the Year in 2010. BlueWater has since grown into a large business through organic growth, was then acquired by Tetra Tech and now operates autonomously as a wholly owned subsidiary. BlueWater contracts with the DoD, DHS, the Intelligence Community, and other civilian agencies to deliver IT systems and services under the same NAICS Codes listed above for AOC. BlueWater’s experiences, resources, and capabilities significantly enhance the capabilities of AOC to compete for, win, and perform the broad scope of requirements for large agile software engineering, system engineering, and enterprise IT and cybersecurity solutions.
